The easiest way to demonstrate how useful the magnetic light fitting is by looking at a movie of the product in action.

Movie 4: Extreme Light Bulb Changing

The magnetic light fitting was designed by Anthony Clough whilst undertaking a masters degree at the Royal College of Art in London. This movie shows testing of the first working prototype.

There were plenty of volunteers to rise to the challenge of replacing an out of reach bulb with the new idea. Instead of using a chair or stepladder, people found that the bulb could be replaced by just jumping up in the air and sliding the bulb into place. The sport of extreme light bulb changing was born!

Although this was a lot of fun, this footage does demonstrate just how easy this product makes it to change a light-bulb.
